World Beard and Moustache Championships

Known as "the premier event in the international sport of bearding, " the World Beard and Moustache Championships were held this weekend in Norway.

This year, German Hairdresser Elmar Weisser beat out 160 finalists with his prize-winning beard featuring a moose and a Norwegian flag.…


Take hope, you Americans…

Organizers say the event has traditionally been dominated by Europeans but that the United States is fast becoming "the world's new facial hair super power".
