Slate Magazine features Richard Bram's photographs, The Glory Days of Big Hair in Kentucky, taken by Bram in Kentucky in the 1980s and 1990s.
Having spent most of my formative years in Kentucky, I must say this brought back some memories (and not all of them comforting).

Honestly big hair is suddenly refreshing in contrast to the flat hairstyles of today.
