Haha! These folks are actually old friends of mine. For real! We go way back, and yes they are completely insane. They have an awesome vintage clothing store in Chicago called Shangri-La (see above link), check it out if you're ever in the Windy City. Wigs optional.
Yep! They are the duo behind one of our fab neighborhood vintage stores in Chicago-- Shangri-La. Here's what they had to say about this image on Facebook: "Back in the mid '90s, we (Debbie & I) took our stuffed sloth to Kmart for a family portrait session. After a series of group pictures, the photographer asked, "So, do you want some solo shots of that thing?" "Thing!" we said, "That's our son!"
No, it's just that I'm with MJ (and a couple of others whose blogs I follow) who refuse to go there, and rather hope it doesn't drag our already bijou little "gang" away from Blogger and blogging. Jx
