Plus-Size Hair Salon

Stylist Bashar Brown has opened a hair salon for larger ladies in England.

"Increasingly, larger women were telling me how they hate going to the salon because they are filled with slim, glamorous women," Brown explained. "For them, it feels the same as walking into a gym full of ultra-fit people. They feel like everyone is staring at them."

  1. i agree about wanting wider seats, gowns, and neck rests for comfort- but HONEY I do not agree about being self conscious! When I am in the salon I am the cutest thing evar in my retro stylin dresses! Nobody puts baby in a corner!~

  6. If she's too big for a gown then her head definitely won't fit in that mirror. They just need to tease that hair waaaaaay out and put a ton of hair pieces and extensions in. Hell get her a big wig. The best way to make a less than petite lady feel small. Give her a huge heavy head of hair--it makes her look small in comparison and she can't feel self-conscious when she concentrating on not snapping her neck from the weight of her hair.
