    Ah, the Golden Age of Hairdressing! When I went to hairdressing ('Cosmetology') school in the 80s, this is what our textbook looked like. Also, there were instructions on how to use electrical implements for the treatment of dandruff. That's application of live current to your scalp. True story.

    These are definitely Mr. Ray's work. The signature arrows on the curlers look like him.
