Cheryl Ladd was born 66 years ago today on July 12, 1951.
Best known for her role as Kris Munroe in the TV series Charlie's Angels, she was hired amid a swirl of publicity. Prior to its second season in 1977, she replaced the departing (and very popular) Farrah Fawcett-Majors who played Jill Munroe, the sister of Ladd's character.
Ladd also appeared in Wella Balsam conditioner advertisements and TV commercials...
Her ex-father-in-law is famous for his chicken fucking act.
ReplyDeleteEh? What's the story, Norma? I must have missed this one.
DeleteI listen to a wonder podcast,"Gilbert Godfried's Amazing Colossal Podcast." It's fabulous. The character actor Ronnie Schell told (and sang) about this poultry incident. Then there's always Danny Thomas & his glass coffee table & Cesar Romero & his orange wedges.
DeleteGood heavens. I must have skipped that chapter of "Hollywood Babylon."
