Happy birthday to Canadian singer Andy Kim and his lush head of hair...
Looking a little like Engelbert Humperdinck and sounding a little like Neil Diamond, Andy had a string of hits in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
Forgetting (please) that he co-wrote "Sugar, Sugar" for The Archies, Andy had a #1 hit with Rock Me Gently in 1974...

ReplyDeleteThe Canadians always seem to have lush hair....(see Gino Vannelli).
ReplyDeleteHelpful in those cold winters.
Not all Canadians, Jase, not all Canadians...... *sobs*
DeleteI thought I'd published a Gino Vannelli post but apparently I dreamed it. Will right that wrong in future. I bet you all can't wait.
DeleteOh thanks. I had blithely forgotten that song. Now I have it stuck in my head... Jx
ReplyDeletePS It seems he still has the same hairdo, forty-one years later.
No one seems to know for sure when he was born.
DeleteThere are references to both 1946 and 1952 and his official website doesn't mention a date.
According to Einstein: "time can slow down or speed up depending on the position and speed of whoever is making the observation."

Well, why wouldn't he? Perfection can't be improved, right?
ReplyDeletemen, of any century, who groom their eyebrows fail.
