Françoise Dorléac Day

The Hair Hall of Fame celebrates the 70th birth anniversary of French actress Françoise Dorléac.

Françoise became a film star before her elder sister Catherine Deneuve but her life was cut short at the age of 25 in a road accident.

Let’s raise our glasses to the memory of this promising starlet who would have been a senior today … a toast to her HAIR!

  3. Francoise was marvellous, so unique and stylish - much more interesting than her rather dull sister (who is now at last funny in films like POTICHE). How amazing Francoise would be 70 ... the girls both have fabulous hair and clothes in LES DEMOISELLES DE ROCHEFORT -- dig those 60s fashions and tight trousers on the guys George Chakiris and Grover Dale !
