Singing Christian Hair

While browsing the record department at a country thrift store I stumbled on a treasure trove of what I call, Self-Produced Travelling Singing Christian Family Albums. They’re always a good source for good hair. GOOD QUALITY CHRISTIAN HAIR.

What I do for you people…I paid a whole quarter apiece for these…in the middle of the depression!

  1. Is there a reason for the hairdo being much heavier on one side than on the other?

Does it aid in playing accordion?

  2. See what 'a shiny new quarter' buys these days?

Perhaps her breasts are lopsided too and it balances things out.

Margaret "See what 'a shiny new quarter' buys these days?"

I know, I know...it used to buy a lap dance and a blow job.

Norma "and now you need to do another thing....did you scan these yourself? how? my scanner isn't large enough....so what else is new?"

I too have a small scale scanner. I actually dropped these on the floor with overhead lighting then carefully leaned over and took a picture. Then cropped the picture. Then boosted the brightness, contrast, and color saturation. Then I cleaned up the jpeg by reducing graininess, moire, and smoothing out the final result. It's time consuming. A scanner gives a much better picture. On the way home I really thought for a minute about stopping off at the copy place and have them scan it for me...

See what I mean when I say, What I do for you people…These folks were local to the Pensacola area and as far as I know have never been on the internet.

Welcome to the innerwebs, Dyess and Eddins, Travelling Christian Family Singers.

  6. Aye, this is the closest thing to getting a letter from Santa...thanks!

And, I am thinking that Norma's question was rhetorical, rather than literal.

  7. peenee's right; sainthood cannot be far off. margaret, on the other hand is only partially. my scanner question was literal.

my comment about my scanner being small, that was rhetorical.

  8. Here's a shiny quarter for you, Norma. Do not spend it all in one place, literally.
