Michelle Obama's Natural Hair
At last! Michelle Obama was spotted rocking her natural hair...
More about it here.
Twitter user @meagnacarta posted a photo of Michelle with a curly, voluminous low ponytail, and a wide, printed headband around her edges.
It's not clear when or where it was taken, but it didn't take long for the rest of Twitter to collectively freak out. Meagnacarta's post racked up over 16,000 retweets, and prompted a whole lot of responses, too.

Uncombable Hair Syndrome
You think you’re having a bad hair day? Consider the plight of this little girl…
Lyla-Grace Barlow’s frizzy hair is the result of an extremely rare medical condition called Uncombable Hair Syndrome. There are only an estimated 100 cases known today. Previous sufferers include Albert Einstein.
The condition is caused by a gene mutation which means that Lyla’s hair follicles are heart-shaped rather than round.
The result is an unruly nest of knots and tangles that is painful to comb.
More about Lyla-Grace’s story here. Medical explanation here.
