Creole

What's wondrous is that these women look especially ... white:

  1. Actually, "Creole" just means a native Louisianian with French and Spanish blood usually. (like me!)
Of course there are a whole lot of creole people of both French/Spanish and African descent too, but the term is pretty broad.

Anyway, too bad my hair's not as creole as hers. My mother's creole hair, however, is gorgeous black, and at 71 still not a touch of gray.
    So envious of her.

  2. A Creole Research Team (CRT) has been dispatched to N.O. with tiny scissors and corked vials.

  3. Thanks for clarifying, Jason. I thought it was French, Spanish, and African - but I'm from Boston so what the hell do I know?
